Amazon is selling Apple’s 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M5 Max chip, 32-core GPU, 36GB of memory, and a 2TB SSD for $3,499. The price cuts $900 from the computer’s listed price of $4,399, making it one of the biggest discounts currently available on Apple’s high-end laptop.

The deal applies to a powerful configuration aimed at demanding workloads such as professional video editing, 3D rendering, software development, and other tasks that benefit from substantial memory and graphics performance. The model combines Apple’s M5 Max processor with 36GB of unified memory and 2TB of storage.

16-inch MacBook Pro deal details

  • Model: 16-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Max
  • Graphics: 32-core GPU
  • Memory: 36GB
  • Storage: 2TB SSD
  • Sale price: $3,499
  • Regular price: $4,399
  • Discount: $900

The discount is available through Amazon’s product listing, although retailer pricing and stock can change. Shoppers considering the machine should check the final price and configuration before completing an order.

Another M5 Max MacBook Pro is also discounted

Amazon is also listing another 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 Max chip, 48GB of memory, and a 2TB SSD for $4,499. That model is reduced by $500 from its previous $4,999 price.

The 48GB version may be more suitable for users who regularly work with large creative projects, virtual machines, or other memory-intensive applications. However, the 36GB model offers the larger absolute saving and costs $1,000 less while retaining the same M5 Max platform and 2TB storage capacity.

What buyers should know

These promotions arrive after price increases affecting the 2026 MacBook Pro lineup during the summer, making the current reductions more significant for shoppers who were waiting for a lower entry price on Apple’s most powerful notebook.

For buyers who need maximum performance and do not want to compromise on screen size, storage, or graphics capability, the $3,499 configuration is the standout offer. The 48GB model provides additional memory, but its $4,499 price makes it a choice for users whose workloads specifically require that extra capacity.

As with other retailer promotions, the discount may end or change without notice. Both configurations are sold through Amazon, and the listed prices should be confirmed at checkout.
